It's hilarious to me how the world's hand-wringers wring their hands over the ice bucket thing.

For reference, a bucket's capacity is around 8-15 litres (15-litre buckets are huge), and the flow rate of a shower head is around 10 litres/minute. Your average bath is about 75-130 litres (75 being an average bathtub filled halfway).

Setting aside the dubious question of whether it's actually possible to waste water, feel free to take the ALS Skip A Shower Challenge as well. You'll easily yield a large net gain to your local water supply, and nobody will bother you for a whole day.

Literally any way that you choose to do the challenge raises disease awareness and is a good thing.

HILARIOUS. Clearly.
